Job Description Seeking a SQL DBA to Perform routine database administration
functions including optimizing, performance tuning, testing, and
configuration. Track database capacity, plan for growth and business requirements. Install, configure, and upgrade server software and related products. Implement and maintain database security and procedures. Assist other staff in the design and implementation of database techniques. Perform adequate backup and recovery policies and
procedures. Interact with both business and technical users. Evaluate current systems and products for functionality Delivery of module as per project plan and quality standards
Desired Profile Installation, configuration and upgrading of SQL server software and related products.
Evaluate SQL features and SQL related products
Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and
procedures
Database design and implementation
Implement and maintain database security
Perform database tuning and performance monitoring
Setup and maintain documentation and standards
Plan growth and changes (capacity planning)
Perform general technical trouble shooting
Interface with SQL Corporation for technical support.
