Job Description :
Domain Knowledge:
• Strong background in using PHP in a LAMP architecture
• Expert knowledge of Web architectures and protocols.
• Proven ability to diagnose and create complex object oriented code.
• Expertise in developing business applications/data warehousing BI applications single handedly / in a team / lead the team ( SDLC cycle)
• Knowledge of UML modeling/software process design techniques a plus
Technical requirements include:
• Proficiency in: Python, PHP5, Perl
• Strong with Database and SQL - MYSQL and MSSQL
• Database administration – Creation/management/performance tuning/back up/ Recovery
• XHTML & CSS
• AJAX, YUI, jQuery and other Javascript for rich Web 2.0 interfaces
• Experience using common API's and web services (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Google, Amazon) for SEO/SEM of websites
• Any website / development frameworks like – Drupal, Jumla / any PHP/Perl development framework experience is a plus
• Scripting on LINUX environment for scheduled jobs for data warehousing applications
Mandatory: Any DBA / Performance tuning certification is a plus.
Optional:
• 2 years of experience in a Lead role
• We are looking for individuals with an expert level understanding of business application development building blocks, who knows the inner workings of web, application servers, database servers preferably in LINUX environment.
Skills Required
